Amtrak Disintegrates While Traveling 125 MPH
It’s been an ugly 2018 for Amtrak and its passengers.
According to DailyMail, one of the carriers engines suddenly shredded into pieces while traveling 125 MPH from New York to Washington, D.C.
This marks Amtrak’s third accident this calendar year following the crash outside of Charlottesville, Virginia last week which followed the derailment in Tacoma, Washington and the collision in Columbia, South Carolina.
Fortunately, none of the 52 passengers aboard the train were injured.
Somebody is really asleep at the wheel when it comes to safety practices for these trains. This could have gone WAY left.
